Kendall Planning Board Meets at 7:00 PM on the    

Fourth Tuesday of each month at the

Kendall Town Hall

     At the request of the Town Board the Planning Board is also revisiting the Hamlet, Waterfront Residential and Waterfront Development districts accessory structure building codes. The challenge on the lake is the wide diversity of lot sizes that were created from the 1950’s onward. These lots range from very small with a cottage to larger or combined lots with year round homes. The planning Board is trying to offer our residents more definitive and definite guide lines for accessory structure sizes and setbacks from streets, lake shore or lake view property and private right-of ways. Again our role is to make recommendations to the Town Board for their review. 

     Planning Board meetings are always open to the public. If you have a project that requires Planning Board involvement, come and see us as early as possible, even before the application is started. This will allow us and the Code Enforcement Officer to guide you through the site review process.
